Q. WHAT WILL HAPPEN WHEN I VISIT FOR THE FIRST TIME?

A. When you are visiting with us we promise to give you the "Hassle-Free Guarantee." We will not embarrass you, have you stand up, or ask you to give money to our church. We know that many people want to check out the church and “be anonymous” for a while—and that’s fine with us! Come in, enjoy the relaxed atmosphere, and see if Revolution Church is for you. 


Q. WHAT DO I WEAR TO ATTEND YOUR SERVICES?

A. You’ll find everything from shorts and flip flops to dress shirts and jackets. Feel free to wear what is comfortable for you, because at Revolution it's not about what you look like or what you wear. Services will last about 1 hour and 15 min. 


Q. WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

A. At Revolution Church, your children are a top priority. Our facilities are clean, safe, and staffed with loving workers, who have undergone a thorough background check. And, we're not just baby-sitting... while you're enjoying a great worship experience your kids will be learning important life-lessons, and deepening their understanding about God as well. We also have a specific area of ministry every Sunday for all children who have Special Needs in our Spectrum of Light ministry.

Q. WHY DO YOU HAVE SMALL GROUPS?

Small groups are an important part of Revolution Church; in fact, you haven’t fully experienced the church until you’ve experienced our small groups. Groups allow you to meet other members and develop relationships that will spur your relationship with God. As Revolution grows, groups allow us to “stay small” and connected.       The Small Group Childcare Worker is responsible for providing nurturing and developmentally appropriate care within our childcare programs throughout the week. This position works to create a fun, safe, welcoming experience for children while they and their parents are on campus for Small Group Programs. In all actions they reflect the Revolution team leadership distinctives.

      Essential Functions:

      1. Provide nurturing care to children
      2. Guide developmentally appropriate activities for children utilizing provided program plan
      3. May lead children in Bible lesson, classroom activities, and activities outdoors
      4. Provide welcoming guest experience for parents
      5. Maintain clean and safe classroom environments

      Minimum Qualifications:

      • High School experience and/or graduate
      • Ability to interact with children to support their spiritual development
      • Ability to engage kids through fun and fellowship
      • Effective relational and communication skills, both verbal and written, with children and parents

  • DreamTeam/Growth Track Director

    We are currently looking for a Full-Time DreamTeam/ Growth Track Director at Revolution Church. Below are some of the points the DreamTeam Growth Track Director will be responsible for:

    • Initiate and cultivate the fun, God-honoring heart and culture of the Church by influencing Staff, Campus Coordinators, Coaches, Dream Team, and the Church at large.
    • Celebrate the people – the Dream Team – through video elements, stage announcements, appreciation events, and personal conversations.
    • Ensure Growth Track and Dream Team interface is smooth and effective – that people are cared for and given the best next steps in their personal journey.
    • Coordinate and lead monthly meetings with Campus Dream Team Coaches to ensure vision, challenges, and goals are clearly communicated and accomplished.
    • Provide solutions and coaching for leaders in handling issues that arise.
    • Relationally lead and pastor Coaches one-on-one and as a family unit in areas of spiritual, personal, professional growth, and strategies.
    • Regularly attend on Sundays to assess the Dream Team, the climate and culture of the campus, and the effectiveness of leadership, providing prompt feedback and solutions.
    • When checking in with the Coaches on Sundays, have intentional conversations with leaders and team members alike to ascertain personal testimony to the overall culture and health of serving.
    • Set attainable goals for Coaches and follow up to ensure goals are accomplished.
    • Preserve roles and requirements for Lead Team members by assisting Coaches to recognize, train, and empower leaders in these roles.
    • Generate weekly KPIs to attest to the effectiveness of leaders and existing processes as well as make sure each coaches fill out Sunday Reports every Sunday.
    • Monitor the global growth of the Dream Team in all areas – spiritually, relationally, numerically.
    • Resource, support and oversee Dream Team Leaders.
    • Ensure all Growth Track events are equipped, resourced, and led with excellence and that participants receive their clear next step.
    • Have full knowledge of Planning Center database.
    • Resource all teams with necessary scheduling, communication & all leadership tools to include Planning Center or any other means.
    • Provide pastoral leadership for Dream Team members.

     

    Weekend Responsibilities

    • Ensure Campus Dream Teams are resourced and equipped to run Sunday services.
    • Ensure that Sunday setup is done in an excellent, effective, and timely manner.
    • Connect with Dream Teams Leaders and make sure all bases are covered.
    • Lead Dream Team Huddle on rotation.
    • Love, encourage and pastor people.
    • Connect with new people.
    • Be available for ministry time with individuals. Other Duties and Responsibilities
    • Work with the Creative and Events Departments to coordinate and plan the annual Dream Team Yearly Party
    • Prepare and lead training sessions for all Dream Team Leaders.
    • Actively network with Churches and organizations outside of the Church to gain knowledge, creative solutions, and support.

    Purpose: Directly responsible for the overall administration, coordination and day-to-day affairs of the Small Groups and Pastoral Care at Revolution.

    Experience and Knowledge Required:

    • Ability to build relationships in order to assess, advise and direct a person’s appropriate next steps.
    • Ability to recruit, lead and equip leaders to lead successful teams and small groups.
    • High energy with enthusiasm for Revolution Vision.

    Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

    • Manage day-to-day functions and integration of the Small Groups and Pastoral Care at campus.
    • Oversee, coordinate, and implement plans for recruiting new leaders and coaches, leadership development and leader retention to sustain growth in all hubs.
    • Facilitate regular meetings with Leaders and Small Groups Ministry Team Captains.
    • Facilitate and oversee Small Group Leadership Trainings and interviews.
    • Ensure all Small Groups materials and campaign items are ordered, received and available for semester launch (banners, Coach’s playbooks, Leadership Training Manuals, etc.).
    • Oversee and manage small groups’ data administration, including but limited to the Small Groups Database and Planning Center
    • Provide pastoral leadership for Small Group Leaders at campus.

     

    Other Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintain Small Groups budgets .
    • Monitor and report monthly defined measurables through KPIs.
    • Follow accounting procedures, manage Small Groups paperwork for accounting purposes.

     

    Pastoral Responsibilities:

    • Assist with pastoral care needs of the campus. Partner with Small Groups Ministry Team on pastoral care issues and keep that team apprised on all related issues.
    • Be available as needed to assist in crisis situations, hospital visits, funerals, and/or weddings.
    • Participate in “on call ministry” rotation and Sunday altar ministry, as needed.
    • Attend Sunday services and assist at conferences/events as needed.
    • Set an example by attending Saturday morning prayer and all church events.
    • Lead and Executive successful Freedom Conference in the Fall and Spring.

  • The Children Director is responsible for helping children to find and follow Jesus. This person will provide oversight and direction to our weekly Kid’s Ministries (Birth to 5th Grade) by creating awesome environments that children can't wait to be a part of, building teams, training volunteers and executing awesome events for children!

    This person helps the pastor accomplish the overall vision of the church, Know God, Find Freedom, Discover Purpose, and Make a Difference by creating programs that aid in children having a safe, clean, fun and engaging environment for children to learn more about Jesus.

    1. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Oversee all programming for children birth through 5th grade.
    • Identify, recruit, develop, and train volunteers to become Coaches and Team Leaders over each department. (Nursery, Preschool, Elementary, Kid Check)
    • Hold frequent meetings with all volunteers to make sure they are executing the policies, procedures, practices and vision of these ministries.
    • Plan and oversee special events related to children and families, including Vacation Bible School, Fall Festivals, DayCamps,Family Fun Days etc.
    • Submit all events to graphics coordinator for advertising.
    • Recruit, develop, and deploy children’s ministry volunteers by attending Growth Track Step 3 and by any other means necessary.
    • Set growth goals for each quarter and discuss in meetings with the pastor.
    • Maintain the integrity of the children’s Bible teaching time by ensuring the instruction is consistent with the doctrinal convictions of the church.
    • Manage all children’s ministry staff that work with children from birth through fifth grade. This would include oversight of all childcare needed within the church.(Finding the workers/Hiring/Developing/Firing contracted workers)
    • Identify and execute mission opportunities for children to participate in.
    • Run background checks on anyone working with children.
    • Ensure children’s spaces are lively, fun, clean, and ready for worship time. This includes making sure we have the necessary technology available. TVS/SOUND/LIGHTING/PAINT/ETC.
    • Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • A commitment to the mission and vision of the church.
    • Trust in the leadership of the church.
    • A call to serve in children’s ministry.
    • A lifestyle congruent with the biblical requirements for leaders (1 Tim. 3:1-13; 2 Tim. 2; Titus 1:5-9).

    • Hold monthly conversations with kids about salvation.
    • Baptize children that aren’t planning to be baptized by their parents. (Offer it to parents first.)
    • Run a midweek RevGroup for children to go deeper with Jesus.
